Traveling with a baby!

Lets be honest Eddie an I hit the baby lottery on well behaved child during road trips! Julian has fussed a little bit here and there, but overall our trip to Hannibal Missouri and now back. Has been more pleasant than I imagined. 

  The reunion was a success also and our only complaint was the heat! Man was it hot. We had an occasional breeze roll in which was heaven sent, but other than that if we hadn't been in front of a fan. We would've all melted! The trolley ride through Mark Twain's hometown was a hot mess also. Julian was in the ergo carrier till I couldn't take it any longer. Then he almost had a melt down and I had no other choice, but to nurse him in the very open public! Did I mention I was sitting on the open window side of the trolley? Hey! When baby bear is hungry! You gotta do what you've gotta do!! As all the signs around town said 'Keep calm and carry on!' For us I'll go with 'Keep calm and nurse on!' Which is exactly what I did. 

We had planned on going to the Caves, but we are all exhausted from the heat. Now we are 72 miles away from home and this mama bear forgot the banana mum mums in the trunk! Oi ve~! This will be a long 72 miles to go. Since Julian is not a happy camper right now. I guess that well behaved traveler I spoke of earlier couldn't last forever. 

Here are some pictures from the original park we had booked the reunion at. Due to a tornado though it was shut down. It did however open the day we got into town.

Happy Fathers Day !!

Happy Father's Day from our family to yours! I hope all the fathers out there know how much their families appreciate their hard work! I know we appreciate Papa Bear~!

Summer time downsizing!

In preparation for the big neighborhood garage sale in my grandmothers neighborhood. Eddie an I decided to help my family out cleaning their backyard, garage and basement. Mind you, I went into a crazy cleaning spree right before Julian was born. Just to have it filled back up with things, so I'm hoping this won't be the case this time around. I should have taken a before picture of the back driveway. It was filled with junk and leaves everywhere. I put a sign out saying free and just lined up the curb with some junk. Surprisingly everything was gone the next day! 

What does your family do to avoid clutter? Any organization tips you can offer?

Baby Bear is a vampire!

Julian has been cutting teeth these last few weeks and now he has baby fangs! No front teeth yet, so it's really humorous to say the least! 

Can you see the fang? It's the best I could get. I can't say he makes for a happy baby when I exit the room though. I still am nursing him, so he has been nursing more frequently because of teething. Also he has entered into a cling to mama stage. Thank goodness for the ergo baby carrier or else I'd get nothing done around the house lately.

Also Follow up on little bears shutterfly photo book. We got it, but it was dented. :( 

Not sure how it would've happened, but the company has already sent out a new one! They said to discard the current one carefully. Overall their customer service was quick at responding and I'm very happy about that! I should branch out and try a different product other than the photo books next time. 

Back to this little guy now~!
