I love shutterfly!

I seriously could make shutterfly books all day long! It's like yearbook and newspaper days all over again in high school! Nerd alert! ;) Love making fun layouts and designs.
Sneak peek at Julian's first year book~!

Memorial Day Weekend~!

No plans for us this weekend other than staying home and enjoying some great Kansas BBQ!! Plus some home brewed beer from Eddie's dad! We've already been out and about today. The weather is beautiful outside!! As soon as baby bear wakes up from his nap. We are going on a walk! What have you done so far this weekend? Any plans for Memorial Day?

Breastfeeding Baby Bear

I usually am not the type of breast feeding mom who shares her nursing pictures, but it is a precious bonding moment! This is probably the first and last one I will share publicly.

My son is 10months old and we are still going strong. I was seriously worried about my supply dropping once I went back to work, but fenugreek along with milk rich from wish garden helped me out immensely! I work in a coffee shop running back in forth from host and serving guests in the coffee shop. To say the least I'm there from 6:30am-2pm sometimes 3pm and by the time I leave work I can not wait to get home! Engorgement sucks! Today I got home and realized I'd leaked through my shirt. Oops. That's what I get for not carrying a spare set of bamboobies in my purse!
What do you do to avoid engorgement or drops in your milk supply? Or does your family formula feed?

I couldn't wait~! <3

Julian's first birthday is fast approaching and I ordered a Melissa & Doug baby grand piano for him off of EBay. Best deal ever and a fantastic toy piano! No, it is not a piano sound, but more of a chime sound. He loves it all the same and that is all that matters! Eddie an I could not wait for July 20th to give it to him. We assembled it yesterday and all played with it. To say the least I have a baby Mozart on my hands!

Holy Diaper Laundry

I have been slacking on doing the fluffy diaper laundry, so they have been hanging out in the larger wet bag. I unzipped the bag and talk about funk city! Shame on me for slacking~! Never again will I skip laundry on the weekend. I currently am a huge fan of pocket diapers. They just seem to work for my son. I also am excited to know I turned my friend Danielle into a cloth diapering mama!! I know it seems silly, and my boyfriend has started calling me a cloth diaper hoarder, but I feel like I'm saving the world one less disposable diaper at a time!! What does your family do to be a bit more environmental friendly?

Lets GO Papa Bear!

Today is a big day for Eddie. He has an interview with the principal and current band teacher. To make his current assistant band teacher position into a full time position! I couldn't be more proud of him either way! Julian an I found a four leaf clover, so I will take this as a positive sign!

Infantino Fresh Squeeze System Review

I have received The Fresh Squeezed Collection from Infantino to facilitate my review. I love this product because it makes kids excited about making their own food. Simple packaging, instructions and a magnet that you can put on any magnetic surface to remind you how long the pouches will last in the fridge (48hrs) and freezer (12months). I would recommend making your pouches in bulk and freezing them. The Peppy Puree works just as well as The Baby Bullet by Magic Bullet. The Infantino spoon attachment and reusable pouches make it so you can easily introduce baby’s first foods with this product. Pros: Great bonding time for parents and kids during snack time or mealtime. You know what your children are eating. It’s perfect for the picky eaters of the family because they can make their pouches and get excited about the food making process. Great for on the go, especially with a 9month old! You can use the spoon attachment, but my son had no trouble using it without. You can purchase all items separately. Cons: The system only comes with one food press to push your purees into the pouches and it is not purchasable separately. Which defeats the purpose of having three spots to do food pouches. When taking the pouches out after filling them they tend to get stuck a bit making switching the pouches out from one to the next a bit messy, but if you are doing this with your kids make a mess and have fun!
